FindACounsellor.org is not a membership scheme. There is no application, no fee and no paid placement. Nobody pays to be listed, and nobody can pay to appear higher up.
Where your details came from
Your professional body, years practising, the topics and approaches you list and your languages all come from BetterHelp, the service you work through. We did not collect them from you, and we do not check anyone's membership or training.
The written summary on your page was drafted with the help of AI, using only those details. It should not say anything that is not in them. If it gets something wrong, please tell us so we can fix it.
Corrections and removal
Send us a message and we will deal with it. If you ask to be removed, your page comes down across the whole site and is kept off any of our other directories in future. You do not need to give a reason.
How the site is funded
The site is free to read and carries no adverts. If a visitor signs up for counselling through one of our links, we will earn a commission, at no extra cost to them. That does not affect who is listed or in what order.
